Jonesin' for Jim!

Maxine is ready to grab her surfboard and be the talk of the beach today in her stunning, one-of-a-kind JIM MORRISON/THE DOORS Hard Rock Hotel board shorts!! I've never seen anything quite like them - if they fit me, I swear I'd keep them all for myself! They don't have tags so I can't truly call them new old stock, but they don't appear to have ever been worn!

These awesome shorts feature a velcro and drawstring waist, and a coin pocket in back with The Doors logo on it. The shorts are a little lighter than they appear in the pics - they are navy blue on the waistline, and lighter blue and a sky-blue on the rest of them. The back of the shorts read "Hard Rock Hotel Orlando" on the waistband.

The shorts are marked a size 7, but please refer to the measurements below to ensure a proper fit:

Wonderful Tonight

As I was dressing Maxine in this gorgeous gown, I was singing along with Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight." Couldn't help myself! Maxine doesn't appreciate my singing, but she can't walk, so what's she going to do about it?

Anyway, this dress has no tags so I'm going to assume it's handmade, and whoever sewed it was a talented seamstress! It features a scoop neckline and a flattering wide bottom sweep. In the fourth photo, I taped the dress so you can see how full the skirt is - it would look fantastic with a long crinoline underneath (and I recommend wearing a slip underneath, but that's totally up to you!) The pattern is baby blue and white, and it has silver threads running throughout.

Based on measurements, I believe this dress could best fit a modern M to L, but please refer to the actual meas. listed below to ensure a proper fit:

These two adorable sweaters are moving to Spain!  I just sold them on my Etsy site, but the one in the photos below is still available - it's a size medium, and it's at a very reasonable price!

Ah...the good ol' days...Maxine hails a cab and heads downtown to her office job - she slips into the elevator and quickly powders her nose in its mirrored walls...she feels confident and powerful in her *stunning* and RARE three-piece outfit by the famous Henry-Lee! Time to make coffee for that demanding boss of hers...

This outfit includes a dress, jacket, and coordinating belt - the dress features a tobacco-brown bodice with a spiffy tie at the neckline, and the skirt is done in a textured heavy poly knit of brown, blue, and white. The coordinating jacket is done in the same pattern as the skirt, and boasts gorgeous soutache trim down the bodice, on the pockets, and on the sleeves (see photos). One of the sharpest features on this outfit is the navy blue shiny belt - it has no holes so it's completely adjustable for comfort, and it can be worn on the dress or outside the jacket!

The only issue with this outfit is that one of the buttons on the left wrist (see pic 2) is missing its little gold "ring" but other than that, it's still in excellent vintage condition!

This outfit is marked a vintage size 16, and in my estimation it could fit a modern 10/12, but please refer to all measurements listed below:

Vintage Items Recently Sold On eBay

This delightful little number is handmade, and it's done in the prettiest fall colours!  Never had a chance to wear it because it was too long and I didn't want to ruin its resale value by hemming it.

Ah...this dress!  I was so excited when I bought it, but it never fit me quite right, as I said in a much earlier post.  It was too tight in the bust and arms, and I'm a little bit too long-waisted for it.

I bought these shoes to wear with a little fine-gauged knit sweater from Ann Taylor, and the shoes were about a half-size too big.  I've never had much luck with mules (or with slingbacks, for that matter!)

I spent days and days combing eBay for a skirt that matched this top, and one day I happened upon the perfect one!  I'm not sure why I never wore this, but it's going to a good home!

Slow Selling, But Still Steady - They're gone!

This cute three-piece ensemble went to my favourite return customer - she buys so much from me that I give her free shipping now! :)

This cute fall dress sold almost immediately - I wore it once with the belt shown - it's really cute and flattering!

Never got a chance to wear this little disco shirt.  It's got an interesting history, because the orange grove pattern came from a shop in an area which is now overgrown with commercial buildings and apartments, but used to be nothing but orange and lemon groves!

Ah...these bodysuits are SO soft and comfortable!  I still have this one available in black on my eBay "vasiliasvintage" store.  This one's going clear to Scotland, and I included a matching brooch for free - hope she loves it!

Oh my goodness!  I actually had to struggle with Maxine for about 15 minutes to get these cute vintage AVIA tights on her - they used to be my cycling and workout tights - farewell, and I hope you love them!  :)

This darling little pair of 60s clamdiggers went clear to Israel, and I included the matching top for free - hope she loves it!

This lovely little red poly frock is on its way to Australia!  I loved the details on the bodice - hope it's arrived safe and sound, and hope you adore it!
